About us
We are Pequeno Burro, Shrewsbury’s favourite Mexican street food kitchen. We make our food fresh to order, and are always experimenting with different ideas and changing up our menu. What we’re not is a ‘tex-mex’ takeaway! You won’t be working a chip fryer here and although we do make a cracking burrito it’s not ALL we do. Our aim is to bring our love for real Mexican food to the tables of fellow Salopians.
Since we first opened our doors in 2020 we’ve been going from strength to strength and need to expand our team to meet our growing number of orders.

If it is you’ll be joining a great, friendly team who work hard and take pride in making and preparing delicious food and cocktails for takeaway (via delivery platforms like (JustEat and Deliveroo) and collection.
We’re looking for someone who can cover various shifts available from 4 hours – weekdays/weekends, daytime/evenings.

Requirements
- 18+
- No previous experience necessary.
(We will teach you all you need to know – like how to prepare orders, make drinks, serve customers and keep everything shipshape and organised)
- All you need is to be is a quick learner and be happy to work in a busy environment.
- Have an interest in catering.
- As we’re a small team, Its essential that the candidate is someone who’s reliable and a good timekeeper.
- You’ll be serving customers face to face, so our ideal candidate is presentable, friendly and confident. Having your own unique sense of style would be an added bonus.
